I had a van I just brought but someone thought it was funny to steal it from me.i'm a singal mother of 3 and need help.My daughter is 11 my son is 9 and i have a 8 month old. I need reliable transportation to get to doctors appointments. I've had 5 surgeries on my back and now am completely disabled. Walking or taking the bus is not an option for me

Very much in need of a car this year 2012. Have had a very bad time with money and the car I have had nickel and dime events. Being I have some problems with getting around, due to somethings that have happend to me, since 2006, and again,2009. today and many-days I have tried to be more careful about bus-rides, and getting out in very-cold winter, and very-hot summer, with the astmah & C.O.P.D please help. Hi! Iam really in need of a car. Iam a single mother who graduated from Montclair State University with my Bachelors degree. I work 2 jobs to make ends meet. I have been taking transportation to and fro work, doc appts, my son's physical appts as well as dental and eye appts. I get no help from his "dead beat dad." I could really use the car for food shopping instead of walking and doing shopping almost everyday or every other day since i can only carry 2 or 3 bags at once walking up the hill. I don't mean to make excuses but my life would just be a lot easier for my son and I. Iam a hard worker and for about 7yrs i have been living like this, it would be great if i can finally make a change and definitely instead of working two part time jobs with a car i can work 1 full time job and since i have my degree and going for my masters, it'll definitely be alot easier and instead of my son waking up earlier than usual especially on rainy/snowy/windy days to go walking to school. He will be turning 8 in about 2 weeks from today. This will make a perfect bday gift so to speak even tho he can't drive yet but he will be happy we no longer have to wait half or so for the bus when he needs to go to doctors and mommy can find a better job and go back to school and food shopping can be done in one day for the whole month. Again no excuses but just would be really nice and grateful if i can have a ride to get me to and from places my son and i need to go. I forgot: My check was supposed to be taken from an over-payment. But I had always received the same and there has not been any raises on ssi or soc. sec. But I still receive my soc. sec. That one time in dec, was a real set back for me. Late payment fees on the house, utilities and other needs. Plus my banking account charged 38.00 for each bounced check and some were sent through 3 times. I had already written out the checks for my needs and mailed them. If it is possible, please can someone help me find a car. Last dec on Christmas day, my car blew up. I get 110.00 in ssi and 584 in social security. Also, in dec. social sec. took my social security check(big surprise) for me, I am on a fixed income. I am not lazy and have worked most of my life. I struggled and raised my 2 sons by myself, after I divorced my abusive husband. He was very cruel to all of us. But I was young while raising them, and had more wilpower. It was by the grace of God that we survived. Since last dec. my home went into foreclosure, phone was disconnected. I have health problems, but do not have anyway to make my appointments. The little church I went to, help me some on the foreclosure. The house is in severe need of repairs. Everything that I had worked for, and hoped for...for my family, fell apart; like dominoe's. I have no-one to talk to or understand me. I know that I have some good things that I can do and have done for others and myself. I want to go to church, where I can sing and praise the Lord. I have friends there. Meetings of some sort, would be good for me too. I'm getting more depressed and seldom go outside. But keeping my hope and faith that God will help me, if it be thy will. He has done it for me before, or I wouldn't be alive today. I'm reaching out and leaving my foolish pride behind, for help. I am a single parent with a 3 year old child. I have no car to get him to daycare, or myself to work. I have asked friends for rides, but it is very hard for them with their schedule and mine. My child's father left me pregnant and homeless, and I have managed on my own for several years with the help of community programs. I am forever grateful if someone could help out with a good reliable car. The cars that I have afforded have always been high maintance vehicles where I've had to spend money fixing them. I have not had a car for over 8 months, and I only wish that I can have a car soon, so I don't have to depend on others to get me to where I need to go. Thank You!

Being diagnosed with chronic Sickle Cell Anemia Disease, I am hospitalized almost monthly, sometimes more, due to pain crisis, fever, dehydration and overall body shut-down. Since the age of 14 I have also suffered with extremely high blood pressure and in the last 3 years, I have had a total right hip replacement.
However, I have never let this disease totally rule my life. I have pursued my education with a vengeance and I am starting my third year of college at the age of 20. My current dual enrollment at the University of Medicine and Dentistry and Kean University, has largely increased my need for transportation and mobility.
My first two years of undergraduate coursework, I lived in the residence halls at Kean University which had various means of transportation. The second part of my degree is taken at the University of Medicine and Dentistry. I am taking classes in which it takes an hour by bus there and an hour back (when the bus is on time). When not hospitalized, I often have numerous doctor appointments and checkups and my guardian has to take time off work to take me back and forth to the doctor’s office. I have a minimum of four doctor’s appointments a month due to hypertension, sickle cell anemia, a vascular necrosis and pain management.
In, Now that I have to commute to UMDNJ for school, the extreme heat and cold weather will be devastating to my disease and commuting will be very hard. A car would help me out a lot between school and doctors appointments and achieve my goal of a degree in Health Information Management.

I know what it feels like to have your entire world come crashing down. I spent 2 months homeless in the dead of winter last year. (after my hubby who i loved with all my heart chose someone else.) I not only was rejected by him , his family, but also our homechurch _he is still the sunday school teacher.) I was jobless (as he had not wanted me to work for years.) homeless. and penniless when he kicked me and the 2 children out. I was heart broken and had just found out (which to THIS DAY have not told him) that i had a type of lymphatic cancer.... I was hours from my own family.. and often i would go back and forth from being angry and depressed to MAKING myself thankful for what i was going through. The one thing i clung to was the HOPE that all the terror i was enduring would HELP someone else. Because I choose Not to Believe that we go through horrible things or scarey times just to harm us. Some days i prayed i could just Go Home to heaven. other days I made it a point to go out and Find someone else to Bless (even while i had Nothing) still there were days that i wrestled with suicide thoughts. I wish hon that i had any money i could give to you . I am like you . I living on nothing but Faith and working the hours i am able with autistic kids here in arkansas. wondering if or when things will change. I too have investigated websites for earning extra money and the free car wrap ads.. along with mystery shopper or online jobs.. but i havent found anything there that will help either of us. I just wanted you to know .. your not alone. Many of us are hurting and struggling.. wondering a hoping... and doing our best to feel like a winner in spite of what things seem. even for a strong lady of faith its almost too much of a strain .. i suppose you may have more grit than you give yourself credit. so start there.. find a a way or purpose a direction for YOU.. not just a job. its what im doing . and it is helping me feel beautiful and worth more than the big ole floppy loser and nothing i had started to think i was. in the mean time. i encourage you to do what need yeshua encouraged "That mean's we have to trust, and release our faith in HIM that HE will allow thing's to work out in his timing. Not always easy, but it's worth it in the long run. " I just BET you will find out that "Sometime's God doesn't answer some prayer's because HE has something better lined up in the future" ahaha... last and not least ..get some gal friends that are so hilarious they keep you laughing no matter how bad things look... because Laughter does good like a "Strong Medicine. "

does anyone one know of a good place in wisconsin that will be able to fix a truck we do have to running order that will not charge the disabled that have no income and a wife who gets very little unemployment? salvation army dont the most here thry give is 50.00 , goodwill dont help except for food, st.vincent the most 50.00 if you got no help from anyone else.theres no county aid i know ive been fighting my workers comp claim since 2000 won it, but now that they found be to be 100% disabled after 2 failed spinal fusions, millions in bills, etc and meds 24hrs aday for pain, they want to appeal, so now another 2 yrs min. of waiting just to drag it out or try to find a way not to pay me. well that adds up to still no income. i filed for ssi, ssd but as per my atty. expect to be turned down the first fileing and then appeal it but either way thats 2 yrs out as well, the state says- thats just the way things are set up, there really is no intrest in setting up any new plans to start programs to help the poor. wow our goverment said, people are like batteries once the battery gors dead just replace with a new one. i asked so then were do i go for help then because im injured and disabled perm. because of it at work, there remark was well if things are that bad ther are hospitals if your mentally disabled or prisons if you break the law because theres nothing out here.then you wouldnt have the worries at least. wow can you belive this goverment? anyway if some one can help us asap we would be forever greatful to you. thanks wisconsin goverment for all your doing to hurt people that worked there whole life, then get hurt at work, and because of the great laws you have in place to help ins. comps., and the companys them selfs, so they dont have to pay or take 20yrs to do so in hopes you just go away. just think wisconsins the birthplace of workers comp. the state that will always side with the companys and and ins. companys just for the big dollar kick backs, who cares who it hurts. the worst part of it these same rules and laws will be in every state by 2015, so if you are geeting help in another state, and they force them to pay your med. bills, a weekly check etc. soon it will be gone and millions more will be in this same boat and things in this country then will be worse then the nat. debt. thanks to all who do care and that are will to help people like us, you people are what make life living for.

So very happy for those who have received their car. I am still desperately waiting for one myself. Life is very difficult without a car especially for me since I am disabled and go to the doctor every couple of days. I pray to God that my turn comes soon.

What matter's most is God is first. We acknowledge HIM in all of our way's, and HE will direct our steps, and make them sure. Sometime's God doesn't answer some prayer's because HE has something better lined up in the future. That mean's we have to trust, and release our faith in HIM that HE will allow thing's to work out in his timing. Not always easy, but it's worth it in the long run. I can relate to being baptized. I went through the same thing, but the 2nd time was my choice. That's something should be upon the age of accountability. Depend's on the child. Continue to seek God, and He will be faithful to open door's. I will continue to pray on your behalf.

I am appreciative for ALL blessings in my life and have never been one to worry too much when things start to look bleak. Some say that I don't care and that I should be hustling about more to try to get myself out of any given circumstance....but it always does work out. That doesn't mean I shouldn't try to still make a physical and conscious effort to keep me from living in the streets, or a shelter. Although I would survive (with a smile i might add), society these days don't look very fondly on having your children not have a home, and so i am here asking for help. I was baptized two years ago, by choice this time. I know things will work out, but I still need to put my own work in to help myself. Thank you and God bless!

It has been a long time since I've been on here.  It hasn't changed much for my daughter and me these last several months.  Maybe gotten worse, maybe stays the same, really. Just like so many other struggly people on this site and all over the world, we are constantly struggling to just get a breath arean't we?  Who was it that said money can't buy you happiness?  Must have been rich.  It sure can buy a big down payment for it.  lol. Anyway, I've seen that it is very difficult in Orange County, California to get anyone to help. I am confused as to where all of these charities send their donations, because I have called a list of over 20 places, diligently for the past four months.  On the first of the month, I'm told they haven't received the funds, by the second of the month when I call, i get told the funds are spent.  All in less than 1 day?  Seriously. I'm a working single mother.  there are supposed to be tons of grants and/or help for ANYONE let alone someone with a child that already has a job.  This economy is a killer.  As  a server, i rely on my tips.  When nobody comes into the place, I get no tips.  Don't people still eat anymore?  Thank goodlness for the restaurant, or we wouldn't eat like we do. I had my car stolen this last weekend so it is twice as hard now to get around to ry to find any work.  I am 500 short for rent this month and the landlord is basically irritated beyond with me and my "excuses" as he puts it.  I'm beginning to think I'd be better off in a shelter. Or if i had no job. Then I could play all day with my daughter and not worry a bout rent.  So here goes.  I'm gonna post on here and everywhere I can trying to find anyone that could help donate, loan, direct how to get some money.  I really hope to find one of those car programs that can help get me into a car.  I see there are programs that lease to single working moms, just nothing in california really.  Hope everyone is well....

i go for low cost car, however, before you buy a low cost car, be sure that this car is working. how would you know if that car is still in good condition? if you're going to purchase it, try first to consult a reliable auto repair mechanic.

Hi I have been Despratly looking out there for option if there would be any to getting a car donated to me. It has been and still is a extremly long road of a journey that I have been dealing with. My life has been nothing but challenges, fighting struggles and dealing with anxiety and depression for years since my mom passed away then my ex husband left me with my son that was only 3 at the time and is now turning 10. I had to climb through latters in trying to make it to the top for my sons sake.. with me being sick in and out of hospitals it has NOT been easy at all!!! Having no car and being broke all the time, and scrapping for change has been horrible.. I am trying to get my feet back on the floor now in fighting to get myson back from loosing him in courts for not having the money to take care of him since my ex husband had left I tried working several jobs but couldnt last at them because I became even more sicker. Now I have been taking the best care of myself for his sack and would do ANYTHING to make him happy and with ME is what makes his smile as well as mine from ear to ear :) Being on disability I am only entitled to make x amount of dollars and I CANNOT afford a car as I just finalllyyy got my own apartment hoping to get him back permantly again.. but the first thing that is way important is having a car to get around to pick him up back and fourth to and from his dads and be able to take him to stores normally without having walk 45 everytime as well as myself everyday to and from work.. PLEASE PLEASE help ME in receiving a car... this WOULD b the answer to all my problems and especially giveme the WISH and DREAMS I have been wanting and waiting for.. and thats to show the courts I have transportation and my ex husband wont have to blackmail me or threaten me or torture my life anymore.. I just want to live a NORMAL life have my old life back and my son and be able to go and do as I please with him.... @Gordy: first off thank you for being so brave by posting your circumstance, that is actually your first move out. Second I'm deeply sorry for what you & your children have to go through. I can't imagine what that life is like & I can tell you desperately want out. I want to first give u credit for using the strength you do have by staying for how ever long u have. Please please please continue to pray to GOD telling HIM EXACTLY what you need HIM to do for you & BELIEVE HE has already done it. Trust me, your change will be on the way. GOD has a plan for you not only to escape the abuse you & your children have to live with but a plan for yalls future when HE takes y'all out. He lives in South Carolina area near Bluffton..He is a senior and lives with his soon to be x wife...He got sick and cannot work due to very bad back problems and other health problems. He has dr apt and no way to get back and forth for his wife will not help hiim. He has nothing and is pennyless at this point and rides a bike at 65 to get to his dr on dangerous highways. Nobody to help him. He wants to move back to NY but he cannot even work part time becuz nobody can help him and his wife wont take him anywhere..she took all his money and he has nothing.
